Monthly Update - April

Happy April, and a very happy springtime!

This month we are focusing on getting used to our new booking system and getting back to movement. The theme for April is SPRING INTO MOTION, so we are thinking all about movement. That means utilizing yoga and pilates classes, yes, but also focusing on moving our organs, detoxing, cleansing and moving back out into the nature. Springtime is such a powerful time of year, let’s make the absolute best of it.

In the studio

  • Did you see our new instuctor Riagain and her fancy pilates classes? We are so excited to have her as part of the team. #1 she’s awesome and #2 not only is she a pilates instructor, but she’s also a yoga instructor and does a special kind of bodywork called Strctural Integration. You can book group classes, private classes and body work with her by going to her schedule. Check out Mat Pilates on Mon and Wed at 9am, as well as Pilate Yoga Fusion on Friday at 9am.

  • Anita has a new class on Saturday morning at 9am. This class is a Gentle Yoga Flow and it’s 45min; perfect for Saturday morning!

  • Corrin’s Monday at 10:30am class has been changed to Beginner Yoga. You are welcome to come as a non-beginner, just know that’s the focus of that class now.

  • Heather’s Wednesday at 10:30am class is now an Active Restorative class called Journey Within. Check it out online to learn more about this all level class.

  • Have you met Karin? Karin is one of our suite renters and also is now teaching the Thursday evening Candlelight Restore class. She has years and years experience as not only a yoga teacher, but also a massage therapist.

  • Anita’s Tues and Thurs class is now Spring Detox Yoga Flow. Following with Ayurvedic practices, this class is all about cleansing the body of stagnate energy and putting more movement into your day.

  • If you are a studio member, you can now add a spouse, partner or family member that lives with you for just 450 per month with our +1 Membership.

In the clinic

  • Did you know we have a sauna blanket that can be added to any massage service or booked on it’s on? Spring is a time of cleansing and growth, time is sauna heat has been said to aid in detoxification, increased metabolism, weight loss, increased blood circulation, pain reduction, antiaging, skin rejuvenation, improved cardiovascular function, improved immune function, improved sleep, stress management, and relaxation.

We’ve also moved to a new booking system so look out for your “Welcome Email”, as well as an upcoming post to walk you through it.

Spring is like a Monday for a whole season. If you’ve been wanting to make changes in your life, but you’re waiting for the “right time” this is it!
