Roger Michael Hoverson
Roger is a graduate student at UNT studying flute performance. He came to Pilates by chance in 2008 when he decided to purchase a book on Pilates from a Barnes and Noble as a teenager. At first, the practice seemed daunting, but with determination and practice Roger quickly fell in love with Pilates and it has been a part of his life ever since. Roger believes that Pilates can benefit everyone, no matter their level of experience!
When not in school, practicing flute, teaching flute lessons, or teaching Pilates, Roger is probably watching Netflix, going out with friends for dinner and drinks, spending time in a coffee bar, reading, or listening to opera in Denton.
Remaining largely self-taught until last year, Roger began working toward completing his Pilates Method Alliance certification in the summer of 2017 through the Balanced Body Pilates Teacher Training program in Dallas under Karen Sanzo and Erin Burnham. Roger will complete his comprehensive teacher training in October 2018 and plans on completely his PMA certification in 2019.
