Non-alcoholic Holiday Drinks

Maple Latte

1 tbsp. Real maple syrup
8oz strong coffee
1 pinch Allspice
1 pinch cloves- ground
1 pinch nutmeg-fresh
¼ cup almond milk
Add maple syrup and spices to the bottom of a mug, stir to combine.
Place milk into a microwave safe jar and heat for about 30 seconds, until warm. Tightly screw lid onto jar and shake for a few seconds, until milk is foamy.
Pour hot, strong coffee over maple syrup. Top with foamy milk. Garnish with more spices if desired.


Vegan pumpkin spice shake

2 cups vegan ice cream such as So Delicious
1 cup pumpkin puree
½ cup - 1 cup brewed coffee, chilled
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
½ tbsp - 1 tbsp maple syrup
½ tsp vanilla
whipped coconut cream to top

Add all ingredients to the blender.
Process until smooth.
Add additional coffee if needed to thin out the milkshake or additional maple syrup to taste.
Top with whipped coconut cream if using.


Turmeric Mocha Hot Chocolate

3 1/2 cups milk
2 cups coffee
1/4 cup dark chocolate, chopped
3 tablespoons dark cocoa powder
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 tablespoon vanilla
scant 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
scant 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
pinch salt

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan over medium-low heat.  Stir frequently until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth.  Pour into 4 mugs.  If desired, line the mug rim with a bit of nut butter.
